Kaktos Publications are delighted to collaborate with poet Sofia Defterigou to present a groundbreaking book that universally expands inclusive circles of writing and reading, offering applied accessibility to art and Greek poetic thought for everyone.

Sofia Defterigou carefully selected poems from her collection, which were adapted into tactile form under the guidance of Braille professor Mr. Dimitris Papastamatiou. A total of 100 copies were distributed to all blindness organizations in Greece and Cyprus.

Then, through collaboration with an accredited interpreter and countless hours of dedication, the collection was made accessible to the Deaf and hard of hearing, as well as to a broader audience facing challenges in expression, language, and interpretation.

This edition ensures equal access and awareness, creating a book that bridges inclusive circles both qualitatively and poetically, offering readers every possible artistic and communicative means of understanding. This achievement alone marks a step forward for culture and the ethical responsibility of books and Greek publishing towards all readers.
