Access to the Myth...
By poet Sofia Devterigou and
visual artist Konstantinos Fai
The two artists will present together in a grand event with accessibility for all, the new inclusive edition of…
“Ek Vakcheias Monogenesis” by Kaktos Publications and the accessible tactile exhibition of paintings, themed “The Road of Heracles Monikus.”
Heroic beauty and ethics in art become the bridges,
so that our civilization can be found where it is needed by our society.
“EK VAKCHEIAS MONOGENESIS”
The Inclusive
The new inclusive edition of "Ek Vakcheias Monogenesis" comes from Kaktos Publications, in a pioneering edition where visual artworks accompany the poems, with special links that lead the reader to recitations and parallel interpretation in Greek sign language. For the first time in poetry and Greek books, all readings are united in one edition, with respect to diversity and the way of perceiving language and poetic connection.
“The Road of Heracles”
in tactile form.
Through the unique artistic style of the visual collection by the internationally renowned artist Konstantinos Fai, from Epirus, the Road of Heracles Monikus is highlighted. This represents the ancient echo of the 10th labor and the hero's side adventures, from the Atlantic coasts of the Iberian Peninsula, to the bay of the emblematic Principality of Monaco and Rome.
Works by the artist will be exhibited for the first time in tactile form and through guided tours in sign language, produced by Starthands.
Additionally, through the pioneering documentary being prepared by the two artists in a specialized production studio, emphasis is placed on the achievements of the coastal civilization during the Late Bronze Age and the Archaic Period, such as the development of Navigation and the Olympic Games.
